I understand that point of view, but I don't agree with it.

The question is, what is the purpose of a non-discrimination policy?

Is it merely to assure that people have reasonable access to services? If so, then separate black and white water fountains side by side serve that purpose. And so do separate black and white housing developments.

Is it to protect the dignity of individuals and their rights as members of society to be treated by public businesses without discrimination? If so, discrimination by Mojo may be less broad but no less hurtful than discrimination by WalMart.

I think we have to ask the purpose of the principle before we can apply it. For you, what is the purpose?
