Snow is a natural phenomenon. It is merely water that has crystalized into a frozen state when it precipitated from the air as a droplet and descended towards earth. There is no cause to be alarmed. It is nature's way of saying that too hot for too long is not good. Snow is white because it is pure and good. If it had any amount of bad stuff in it, it would be brown or black. (You don't have to read too much into this) Snow is also fun to ski on, and if it is really hard and flat, to skate one. You can make snowmen out of snow, snowballs, and generally roll it in and have a good time. It is great for covering crabgrass on lawns, and prevents neighbours from knowing you don't rake your leaves. Snow is also good for doing 360's with your family automobile, and spinning tires, which you can do in the snow without damaging them. It is also good healthy excercies to shovel snow. Careful you don't have too much fun getting too much exercise doing that! Otherwise you may have to get someone to play doctor with you for a while. Not the fun kind either.

So have fun with that white stuff. It's great. You can't ski on grass anywhere near as well. Christmas cards aren't near as much fun to receive when its 100 degrees warmer, and wolf howls do not chill the blood until they are heard when all you can see is frosty white.

I can hear the sleigh bells now.

So how long is it officially in these parts till spring?
