And we based it in part on intelligence that was assembled by the Clinton Administration. Why do you lefties give all the credit to Clinton for the "good" things that Bush supposedly inherited, but blame Bush for those things you don't like? WTF does Clinton have to do with it? You idiot Bush supporters ignore two possibilities 1) Perhaps the intelligence gathered under Clinton was correct but since then the WOMDS were destroyed 2) Clinton did not act on misinformation but Bush did Add a third possibility Bush LIED under the ASSUMPTION he would find something and is now scrambling to save his ass IMO Bush is a war criminal and should be handed over to the world court for prosecution. That is how far I think he overstepped his authority. At the VERY LEAST he well overstepped his bounds, on missinformation, started us in a war with no end in sight to cure a non-existant problem of WOMDs that were not there. Since there was no immenant threat (clearly proven) and since he acted against the UN (and is now BEGGING the UN for assistance after declaring them irrelevant) at best he looks like a pathetic dog wagging his tail between his legs, yet STILL carries on an air of arrogance while begging for help (which is exactly why he will not get any from anyone and I sure hope the UN tells the US to go to hell). He also put the US on a DANGEROUS strike first ask questions later policy (on piss poor assumptions no less that were proven wrong) and that IMO authorizes EVERY other country in the world to do the same. Think of the repercussions of that idiocy if you would. North Korea decides (wrongly or rightky who knows with this idiot in charge) that we are going to attack and assinates Bush. How could anyone blame them? That is how assininely reckless this administration has become. Threatening someone as inasne as the leader of North Korea puts you exactly on their level IMO and who the F knows what they might do. Bush foreign policy is in shambles, domestic policy is in shambles and all we have heard from this administration is lies and inuendoes and excuses. Oh and one other thing. Send more money. We need it to pay Cheneys HAL so his stock options will be worth more. M
