re: It doesn't really bother me. I'm bothered much more by the PC tendency to avoid the problem of evil, and replace the problem by instructing students to say "Hitler was evil" as if Hitler alone was evil.

would you clarify because that should bother any normal person, including germans.....

Hitler was the 20th century's most succesful demagogue.

Yes. And the Historians who write about it attribute it to some "Hypnotic" ability of Hitler. They never look at the ideas imbedded in the German Culture that Hitler identified and built on to convince people to follow him.

Michael Medved, who says he is proud to be Jewish, was furious with the media today for taking a " 1975 book proposal" from a man (George Butler) who couldn't sell it to publisher...

Arnold did NOT write anything in it, and Michael said if there was an audio tape of the book notes by Arnold saying any such thing, that it would have been played YEARS ago.

Michael also said that he himself has written 13 book proposals, has sold 9 of them to a publisher, and the other 4 he didn't/couldn't sell.

Again, he was really furious that the media is making any kind of deal about words written by someone else, and that were attributed to Arnold.

There was probably a reason that the proposed book lay in dust for 28 years.
