A couple of other viewpoints on the issue which I am neither endorsing nor opposing at this time -

In the second link, its all about AA. She says McNabb's stats don't make him look good but when he's out on the field his action is superb. Of course, on the field, he looks like a great QB. As proof, his team went to the playoffs last year.

Yet in the end, what she's really 'sawing' about is AA. Apparently, AA is hurting the quality of our sports teams. Forget that every season, record after record is broken by these marginal and racially enhanced players but its all incidental and meaningless.

AA is the whipping boy. I am sick of it! The white race has become a whiny, sniveling group of babies. Maybe its always been that way. That's why we have to enslave people quickly before they realize we're weak.

EDIT. I have been in school and working since AA has been in place and not once did I ever believe my upward movement was stopped/slowed by AA nor did I ever see anyone else's progress stopped by AA. But what I did see were people, who were not competent and/or did not put in the necessary effort, blaming AA for every lost opportunity or advancement. I refuse to fall to their level.
