when did Stalin try to exterminate the whole races of people? Is it really an improvement if you try to eliminate whole classes of people instead? like the kulaks? By "resettling entire nations in Siberia," I was referring to the Chechens. The scorched earth defense referred to burning the crops to deprive the Germans of food, while not making any provision for Russian civilians. Russians were not smart enough to invent gas chambers? They were not bureaucratic and systematic enough to think of it. Only the Germans killed in such an organized fashion, keeping records of 11 million one-way railroad tickets.
