I've already determined that you are an entrepreneur, and there is no going back!

Seriously you belong in SV, they beg for guys like you out here. Most entrepreneurs are like Jeff Bezos with no fiscal restraint whatsoever. In his case he was so good with vision it worked out. Not always though.

Regarding global bandwidth demands, here we have 2 startups which will benefit from industrial nations shifting IT offshore-

Salesforce expects to book $100 million in revenue this year, two times as much as last year's revenue. NetSuite expects revenue in the neighborhood of $20 million, and says that sales have quadrupled in the past year
"Companies are starting to realize the cost of maintaining (information technology) is a drag on their business and it's all pointing this way."

(what really happened is that companies moved IT outsourcing model and now its too late to rebuild. These companies netledger and salesforce promise to make the outsourced experience better than it is now, so they don't have to compete against in-house shops where they could NEVER win.)

There is a massive amount of bandwidth required to run your business software from an outsourced location especially one that is not in the US. I think the carriers like worldcom are going to come back just to support this shift. I am using worldcom right now at work and they still have the best global network, amazingly.
