We also need to pay for the huge government spending which Bush has presided over. Fiscal conservatism means paying your bills and not hocking your childrens future. Not all taxes are bad. Reagan as Governor raised them. Clinton raised them and gave us 7 years of prosperity. At least Bush's tax cuts for the rich need to be rescinded ASAP until we are running a surplus again. And gaso should be taxed to save gas and invest in clean renewables.

Not according to George Bush. The best investment we can make is in the infrastructure of Iraq. In the war on Terror. In increased spending on the Military and tax cuts for the wealthy. These are not investments.
