I don't think you need to defend Rambi's intelligence. Defending it tends to legitimize the insult, IMO. Jewel's pattern of insult is to throw back at those he feels are not on his side random criticisms that have been leveled against him, regardless of their applicability. Thus he calls me risk-averse not because I am risk-averse but because I said Mojo was risk-averse. He calls me sexually hung-up not because I am but because he perceived my criticism of Mojo implied that. He has been called hateful so he's tossed that one at me, too. He has been called unintelligent so he slings that one back, as well, this time at Rambi. I wouldn't get too exercised about any specific insult. He just has a box where he stores the stones that have been lobbed at him and then lobs them back pretty much randomly when he senses attack. At least that's the pattern I'm seeing. The notion that Rambi is unintelligent is too conspicuously preposterous.
