So where is the pity in his language re: drugs, drug addiction, Garcia, and the illegality of those who use? Does that only apply to others? If Limbaugh is addicted, we have no idea what his take on this subject would be post-addiction; these remarks were years ago. I just think it more liberal hypocrisy -- you have all this compassion for addicted individuals unless they're conservatives. We saw the same type of reaction with William Bennett (who apparently was not addicted, but now admits he had a problem). It is just partisanship to its extreme. That you don't see it as a moral wrong speaks volumes.
