HI Bwac,

I'd take some issue with you on that.

Many loans are interest or very low.

The debt repayment is accelerated when one doesn't have to service the interest charges of past rates.

Mant customers are now coming in with more equity in their vehicles as they were able to finance for shorter periods ,since there wasn't an interest charge.

Admittedly there are some that just pay slower no matter what the rate.

But in so far as the loan holder is coscientous - they are able to repay the debt quicker.
