Hillary Coming to Des Moines
New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton will be the keynote speaker for the Iowa Democratic Party's biggest annual fundraiser.

Clinton's staff made the announcement yesterday.

She'll speak at the annual Jefferson-Jackson Day fundraiser on November 15th in Des Moines.

The former first lady is serving her first term in the senate but has ruled out running for the party's presidential nomination.

The 10 Democrats seeking the presidential nomination have been invited.

Hillary Rodham Clinton filed late Friday, Oct 3rd, with the Federal Election Commission to run for President in 2004.

"Big surprise." Said in my best Ah-nold accent.

We all knew she was just itching for it. Always has been.

Remind me when I am completely awake to parse the Constitution and amendments re: presidents to see whether she can, in fact, pick Bill as her running mate. My husband says no, the VP can only be someone who is qualified to serve as Prez, but my nose is itching, which means I have a hunch.

There is definitely some kind of filing for Hillary Rodham Clinton, Presidential Candidate (Democratic Party), 2004, but so far just the fact that there is a filing. You can't actually read the filing whether in HTML or PDF format.

I don't see any date, however.
