I would have to mull it over a little more, but that is pretty good. The main thing is that there must be a way of discriminating between real conscientiousness, and mere prejudice or stubborness of sentiment. If the person were raised in a very conservative environment, and showed a propensity to conform his acts to his upbringing, despite the rejection of the dogmatic core, than that would, indeed, suggest the legitimate operation of conscience.......
