They supported Davis and refused to field a viable candidate - bad move supporting a lame duck Davis, the entire reason for the recall in the first place.

I find this whole issue somewhat distasteful and the blatant LA Times support of a candidate even worse. I want my news delivered with an impartial balance, endorsing candidates is just wrong.

Worse the Dems brought this dirt out when they supported Clinton's misdeeds while in office and lying under oath is extraordinarily hypocritical. Not to excuse Arnie for his misdeeds but they pale in comparison, I find the reported Dem horror at Arnie's behavior very disingenuous.

I guess given the three choices presented I would have reluctantly voted for Arnie myself. I too am Republican and consider myself a moderate. I disagree with my parties environmental and abortion planks, however I strongly support fiscal responsibility and smaller government and the second amendment right.
