Well...the demos also failed to get the point across that the huge budget deficit of $38 billion is now only $10 billion.....a drop in the bucket considering all this state has had to endure....yet Davis got no credit for this or took the care to get this message out..... CC

Hi Eric, Re: I disagree with my parties environmental and abortion planks, however I strongly support fiscal responsibility and smaller government and the second amendment right. Sounds like you might be a candidate for a "Republican For Dean" designation. <g> Fiscal responsibility seems to be something that the Bush Administration has tossed out the window. While Governor Dean of Vermont was a fiscal conservative who kept his state's budgets on an even keel and tended to irritate the social liberals of his state. Finally, Dean is a card-carrying member of the NRA and wants the Feds to take a hands-off position on gun control. JM2C....
