Bush is just cleaning up leftover dog sh&t from the Clinton years. I blame Clinton because he realistically had from 1996 until the end of 2000 to do something. Thats 4 full years. Bush had about 6 months. That means Clinton was on watch for 8 times as long as Bush, Thats being on watch for 85% of the time, when all the planning was done, and yet you want to blame that guy that was on watch for 15% of it. I'm sorry but if the ducks weren't in a row and a plan wasn't in place to take out Al Quaeda years in advance, the next administration is going to be able to Clinton's job for the past 4 years and his own job too over the next 6 months to take out Al Quaeda. And Bush was successful and destroying a lot of Al Quaeda in Afghistan and getting arrrests of major Al Quaeda operatives including Khalid Shiek Muhammad. Clinton didn't catch Muhammad, the Bush Administration did and nothing under Clinton provided the resources, planning or anything to get Shiek Muhammad. As far as the warnings on 8-5, the real warnings came out 4 years earlier on Clinton's watch who was not effective whatsover in doing anything about it. And of course didn't even have a plan to turn over to the Bush Administration. The FBI worked frantically to find those individuals in the states. The FBI and the CIA didn't talk, a culture that Clinton didn't do anything about and turned over to the Bush Administration saying, I didn't do my job, you fix it.
