I had a few of them, due to having cable tv in 3 rooms and the computer in a fourth. I was using some three-ways from radio shack. Apparently, having a third connection for a coax, without actually having a cable attached, allowed some of the signal to "leak". Either that, or the splitters themselves had gone bad. Technician replaced with two-way splitters (REGAL is what's printed on them-I asked where I could buy them, but the guy didn't think I could or didn't know). That was the only change he made. Took 10 minutes start to finish. No charge. No problems since. Cable is great, especially since ATT doesn't own it any more.
