Personally, as an American I find it very offensive to listen to our so-called leaders misrepresent the conditions in the field and the good works of our soldiers in a blatant effort to gain political points. I have heard so many out and out LIES recently that there are some politicians that I dont even bother to listen too anymore. Examples like KERRY, DEAN, just today EDWARDS and Clark. Lieberman seems to be the only one willing to tell some semblence of the truth. This was PROVEN when a bipartisan committee visited Iraq and ALL CAME BACK with great stories of the progress being made, which is what I KNEW as I have intelligence contacts BUT the average American does not. jdn

If I were a Democrat and American, I think I would find this statement very offensive, and against my rights. Perhaps in Europe. In the United States we have a strange concept called "free speech". And we mean it. Even if it hurts your feelings.
