Jacob is not some Christian nutcase... You are preaching to the choir. If I didn't have a high regard for Dr. Snyder's opinions, I would not even have bothered to post to him. promiscuity in the face of STD's is dangerous My point was simply that whether one is promiscuous or not, proper condom use should be sufficient to protect from STDs. Trying to change behavior toward casual sex through the heavy-handed stipulation that one third of aid earmarked for AIDS prevention be used to discourage extramarital sex is at best futile and at worst a tragic diversion of funds that could best be spent on free condom distribution, AIDS public awareness, prevention, and counseling.
