Prior to getting yourself too caught up in the freedom of conscience debate with the general populous here, I would like to remind you of the discussion we had yesterday.

You base your premise on a particular belief structure. Having your own belief structure is also a right. That belief structure acknowledges a certain view of morality which incorporates underlying purpose. Some of the thread participants (guess who?) do not acknowledge the foundation of conscience that you have placed your entire premise on. They may acknowledge conscience as a valid entity but not likely based on your premise. So we can say they are without conscience if you insist that your presumptions define conscience. You can't argue issues of conscience with people who don't acknowledge that view of conscience in the first place.

If I have misrepresented your view of conscience that was not my intention... but, do you see the point I am trying to make. Also, I recognise that I may have just offended or personally attacked some.
