Your numbers suggest that 1 out of approximately
100 or so Californians is employed by the State.

I think I saw a statistic somewhere where the
number of state employees is actually higher
in relation to the population.

Has anybody looked into the state of caif equipment purchases and up keep of equipment as a way of cutting some fat off the budget? btw good post on the employment post.
