Energyplay,

Two pieces of news came out of Russia last week.

1. The energy minister said that it wouldn't cooperate with OPEC cuts, and it might even increase production.

2. That Russia is considering pricing oil in euros.

An announcement that Russia will not cooperate with OPEC cuts is hardly even news. They didn't cooperate with OPEC in the past, they are not now cooperating, and I don't expect them to in the future. That Russia will increase production instead of cut is also not news, they have done this continuously for several years.

The second piece of news is more sobering.
