Hmmmm...... I have the impression that Islam and democracy may not be compatible. They seem to have a habit of insisting that things must be their way or no way. And that church and state are the same. That increasing population of Arabs could lead to serious conflict with the majority in this country. OTOH, I would think the increasing level of education would work against that. That both broadens viewpoints and lowers birthrates. DEBKA: I don't consider DEBKA a reliable source in other areas. Why should I consider it reliable here? And, OTOH, I would like to see the US get its hand out of that ME meatgrinder.
