I would laugh it wasn't so sad. But you do have good general point, though I still do not like to stereotype all Arab men. I suppose for the Arab media the only thing worse than an Iranian winning the Nobel prize is an Iranian Woman winning it. (start dramatic music) Imagine the mayham if their women choose to fallow suite (images of the end of time displayed in the background). Comes to think of it, even the hardline Iranian media was not too happy about the news, though the people obviously loved it. BTW, Israel has plenty of Iranians who are proud of their heritage. Perhaps this is why they paid attention to the news.

life is hard for most middle eastern women

very little rights or freedom

the United States and Europe are decades ahead in their treatment of females

speaking of women, did you know October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month with the third Friday, October 17th, being National Mammography Day. On this day, or throughout the month, radiologists provide discounted or free screening mammograms.

During 2003 an estimated 211,300 new cases of breast cancer are expected to occur among women in the United States alone. Early detection of breast cancer is important.
