not really. I think a key component to all of this engineering job/salary deflation are foreign work visas, and those are going away. Then we will be left with 2 choices, companies can start R&D facilities here, or they can go elsewhere. That actually sounds healthy to me. Companies here can decide if they want to do an Oracle or not. Time will tell of Oracle's move was the right one.
