Nobody is trying to stifle dissent.

I can't recall how many time I and others on the thread have been referred to as anti-americans...traitors in other words. Hell, conservatives have written books about the subject. Don't tell me that's suppression.

Nobody is trying to stifle dissent. There is a difference between dissent and providing aid and comfort to the enemy. Jim McDermott, Bonior, Ramsey Clark, and many liberals, are providing aid and comfort to our enemies. In particular, the argument by some liberal politicians that we should abandon our efforts in Iraq today is more than dissent, in that it provides the terrorists with motivation to further assault Americans at every opportunity.

You so do not understand how a democracy works that we should send you to Cuba.
