You mean the left was outspent by about a Billion dollars in 2002 when you add up the $691 million the Republicans (far-right wackos) spent, and $460 million the Democrats (pretending to be moderate rightwing wackos) spent. The left is hardly represented in this country anymore, except for the Greens and other socialist parties which hold absolutely no political clout.

The Democrats are to the left of the Republicans, but barely. The Dems are a centrist party these days, whos policy actually lean right a bit with their cozying up to Corporate America. The era of progressive Democrats taking on Corporate America and doing what's right for the public interest is over. They are both wholely owned subsidaries of Corporate America, which makes them conservative in economic philosophy. The Greens represent what the Democrats once stood for - social justice.

You ignore the part that says
The 527 committees sponsored by the Democrats and traditional political allies outspent those employed by the Republicans and their supporters by a greater than two to one margin in the last three years.

But that's OK. I love to hear you guys cry.
