And Powells speech to the UN was recently described by colleague of his as "the low point in his entire career as soldier and statesman..." It has largely been discredited and there is no one, save Cheney, who argues strongly about an Al-Quaida connection to Saddam. If it existed Bush would be leading his speeches with it....instead he backed away from his original insinuations that Saddam was connected to 9-11 and now says he "saw no evidence of such"..
