yeah things are bad here. But not unfixable. Arnold is a real net positive, I think anyway. He has to back out of all the Davis damage and that will not be easy. I read that Arnold wants to go after the hugely profitable indian casinos for revenue, other states get tax revenue from these but Calfornia signed a multi year no tax contract with the Indians in exchange for campaign contributions... arggghhhh!

Bush almost lost an election that should have been a "slam dunk" for the Republicans because of his lack of charm

Huh? Are you talking about 2000? It would make more sense to reverse it, and say that Gore lost that election.

>>>I think the candidate for the Dems that may learn how to campaign and win is Clark.<<<<

I think Mr. Clark has the best chance also. If I were Mr. Clark, I would talk to Mr. Richardson from New Mexico about being his possible nominee for Vice President. Of course, who knows what skeletons either may have and whether the skeletons can really rattle. I think Mr. Clark and Mr. Richardson would have a good chance as moderate democrats pushing the correct issues if it were not for money.

However, to have the opportunity to govern, you must have money. Mr. Bush continues to accumulate cash. I expect he will begin his campaign during the primary season--the Democrat primary season. With the money he has, I believe he will attempt to drown out all their efforts to push their message. It will be interesting to see how it works if he does what I expect.
