Any deaths are regrettable, and we mourn their loss and those of their families and friends.

Platitude. When these soldiers are in hospital, they are told to pay up $243 a month for food. I mean, they lose their limbs in the war and you make them pay for food! Disgusting.

Sometimes life is tough, little Dipy, but we must persevere.

Yeah, right. As long as the persevering is done by some hapless soldiers who don't know whether the next human they see is friend or foe. Keyboard warriors like you of course can talk about "perseverance" and all that crap while your leader says, "Bring it on!" and goes on to eat a nice dinner of filet mignon! Disgusting.

What have you read or seen on tv about anything good that's happening in Iraq?

None. But I am told Fox News is getting the sets ready and that we will be treated to some nice fiction in the next year!
