They are a stronghold of the Republican party. Yes, your point was made some time ago. We just disagree. Probably come election time, you will see that while that group may be a piece of the base, they certainly By No Means will speak for the majority of the Republican party. Don't forget, the fly-over land encompasses MANY people with a wide spiritual base. So does the area with the coast huggers... The left is pandering to those they believe are the mass...I want to believe that the "mass" is smarter than some of the elitist Dems believe. Remember Eric Hoffer....? And yes, I too remember when JFK ran...We're probably similiar in "advanced years"...<g>
