I think you certainly have a (more than healthy) sense of your own importance: ..scurrying away from me as fast as they can.

"Finally, you deign to discuss the article."
I talked about it at great length yesterday, but you didn't reply to that part of my post. Here's my post: #reply-19417293

I guess that great length was down in the 11th paragraph of your post? Must have skipped right over it. Don't know how that could happen.

..they didn't bother to inform anyone that Dos Passos was a pinko because it would have reduced the strength of their message, which was that the German occupation went badly. Instead, what they told you about Dos Passos was this:
"Maybe the author of the main article, John Dos Passos, was the Robert Fisk of his day.

You're missing something and have missed this all along - what is interesting about the Life story to me and I think to the person who ran across the article and posted it is the comparison (i.e. similarity) of the media treatment of post-war conditions then and now. Not that the actual postwar conditions in Germany and Iraq are identical - of course they aren't - for example, people in Iraq aren't on the verge of starvation. Your description of Dos Passos as a pinko doesn't damage the comparison of the media treatment - for conservatives much of the press has a liberal bias.

You're apparently no longer arguing that there is "there is no administration involvement.

No, I see no reason at all to think there was ANY administration involvement at all in posting the Life article. You simply have an overactive imagination.

Good hunting Bilow. Well done. I suppose Jessica's Well and those propagandists were hired by the disbanded Office of Disinformation which isn't run by John Poindexter's secret service which is not out to rule the world and get the oil in the Project for the New American Century, for which We the Sheeple of Earth are expected to feel very grateful and to genuflect to the Great Global God of Lt Gen Bumpkin and King George II.

What you have shown is a little of the power of even the zygote of It. Even the great and powerful can't hide from the ever watchful eye of It, with caches and copies and multiredundant information storage in a zillion nooks and crannies and out onto paper too. It was fun reading your probes into their sneaky, slimy, dishonest and typical attempts to deceive.
