Kerry will never beat anyone but himself. Try DEAN if you want a REAL LEADER, not a wishy-washy political insider.

FRANKLIN PIERCE COLLEGE POLL SHOWS
HOWARD DEAN OPENING A LARGE LEAD IN
NEW HAMPSHIRE DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY

(RINDGE, NH) -- A Franklin Pierce College poll of 600 likely New Hampshire Democratic Presidential
Primary voters found former Governor Howard Dean enjoying a fourteen (14) point lead over his nearest
competitor, U.S. Senator John Kerry, and a twenty-six point (26) lead over former General Wesley Clark. With
undecided voters shrinking 10% since the July 2003 survey, Dean is opening up a wide lead over Kerry and
Clark and a large pack of primary candidates that is stuck in single digits and being relegated to the second tier.
Although Dean is the clear frontrunner, the race remains open to movement with voter support of candidates
being relatively soft (with only slightly less than 3 of 4 voters supporting a candidate in this race) and with only
35% of these voters definitely committing to their chosen candidate.

The survey -- conducted by the College’s Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication over a three day period
(October 13 th through October 15th) – focused on gathering perceptions of 480 registered Democratic and 120
Independent New Hampshire voters intending to vote in next January’s New Hampshire Presidential Primary.
“Governor Dean is opening up a significant lead over Senator Kerry and the pack lagging behind them,” said
Rich Killion, Fitzwater Center Director. “The first candidate to creep into the 30% range in the Franklin Pierce
poll, Dean is enjoying clear leads over Kerry among every critical voter category: Democrats, Independents,
men and women and with voters of each of the states’ two congressional districts.”
