You will realize, when you calm down from this fit of adolescent giggling, that I have said nothing of the kind.

It is great that Turkey is a democracy. They are still struggling to perfect it, in ways they probably wouldn't have to if it were the nation itself who installed it in the first place, but it's better than the Padishah's rule they had before, during the Ottoman Empire. It was their great luck that they had democracy imposed on them, by a guy who had all the power and who could very well have kept it all for himself and turned the country into a dictatorship. He was already the head of the army, after all.

We were talking about whether democracy can be imposed on Iraq. Turkey, another Muslim country and arguably the most democratic one on earth, had it imposed as well.

I was making a positive remark on the possibility of installing democracy in Iraq. Perhaps you should install some control over your reflexive reactions.
