I would like these two do-gooders to visit the graves of the 8,000 Iraqi civilians killed during the war and tell the good news to the relatives.

And some of us would like to see some of the so called peace lovers excavate the mass graves of Saddam's victims... with their teeth.

No side has a monopoly on pomposity. I'll take VDH any time over some of the self righteous prattling of Dominique and Joshke.

What he said.

Just because the US is not as pure and righteous as it likes to portray itself, doesn't mean that isn't a benign force on the planet, compared to other countries' foreign policies - actual, not rhetorical, that is.

We may be hypocritical, but we're strictly bush league compared to France. Witness M. Chirac's current touching solicitude for Iraqi self-government and financial transparency - he who favored Saddam, bribed Saddam with millions, wanted sanctions lifted, cared only about French oil contracts, and didn't give a damn how many Iraqis died or what terrorists Saddam financed.
