Your argument is specious... 1) What do other instances of colonization have to do with present cicumstances? The point should be people having self-detemination and freedom from colonization and occupation. 2) The British, having been on the ground in Palestine, knew the injustice of what entailed creating a "Jewish" homeland in Palestine. Many Brits favored Zionism others not. By and large they tried to treat the Jews (foreign or native), and the Arabs favorly and equiably. The Zionists could not have that, for their designs on the land were otherwise and the Arabs knew it. 3) Whose land? They "accepted"? ha ha. That was a mere toe-hold to which they could begin their ethnic cleansing after stirring up the Arabs. that continues today. "The fact that Israel survives today is miraculous on it's fact." It survives because the American taxpayer is footing the bill directly or indirectly and vetoes human rights resolutions passed by the UN to stop the destruction of the Palestinian society and land. "Expecting the JEWs to now accept annihilation at the hands of the Arabs, acting as proxy for the Europeans who were unable to finish the job, is where people like yourself fail." By using the term "Jews" you set up a situation that to criticise Isra'El is to be a Jew-hater. It is a convienent manipulation playing upon the discrimination angle and an exclusive Jewish Holocaust and the guilt-trip. Keep in mind, the Zionists put themselves there and now cry about anger and Arab hostitlites. Now, thats chutzpah! len
