Actually the findings of Dr David Kay were not very substantial. A few labs that may have been used for weapons development. But only a single vial of Botulin toxin. And no proof there was any Nuclear program at all.

Certainly not enough to justify the war. I am personally very disappointed that we haven't found more. I think it is disturbing that so many americans think that it's ok. We went to war because of a threat and now afterwards we are discovering there was no threat.

The Kay report does contain information that the Iraqis were not 100% forthcoming with inspectors. Not surprising. But does that mean you bomb them to oblivion? Looking back it appears to make more sense to have turned up the heat with more inspections and sanctions. We never should have stopped the inspections. It was a mistake for Clinton to allow the inspectors to be kicked out back in the late 90's. Had we kept up the pressure we probably wouldn't be where we are today.

But I still don't see enough evidence to justify the lives that have and will be lost in this conflict.
