Do you suggest surrender? What you say might make sense if you had to kill all of them. The Japanese in WW2 could put a soldier with a gun on the front lines for less than what we had to pay to kill him. Did we have to kill every Japanese on the planet to win? Do you think the terrorist situation is going to IMPROVE if the US pulls out of Iraq now, leaving chaos? Ot are the very people we are fighting going to grab control and use it as a base for further attacks against us? it takes more than throwing money at a problem to solve it. Gee, I thought that's what the reconstruction aid to Iraq was about.
