We need "smarter" not "bigger."
"Smarter" got us into Baghdad fast with few losses. Past that, you're in the same old problems you always have.

But you never answered: Shall we now just walk and leave a mess? Is this your solution? You might not like the current situation (I don't either) but were in it. Like it or not. Now we have to get the best out of it we can.

And whiners like CC and TP don't help.

That is why, correctly, Condoleeza is now in charge OVER the Sec'y of Defense for this effort.

No, Condaleeza is in charge because as national security advisor any of the funds she spends is automaticly a national security secret. There needs be no accountability for who gets what amount so long as she is the titular head of the effort.
