Good observations. And hasn't the President, in his wisdom, proposed that the best way to prevent forest fires is to allow the loggers to take all the trees they need? Gotta agree with him there.

Fires that are jumping 8 lanes of highway aint going to be stopped by any buffer zone a homeowner can dig.
