War was necessary in Iraq to stem the tide of anti-Americanism.

Now at an all time high....not only among Arabs but throughout the world.

Liberals need to shut up and let it happen.

My middle right hand finger spontenously pointed straight up in the air after reading your sentence...

American involvement in Vietnam began with Eishenower.

You'd love to rewrite history in that way. We had no presence in Vietnam before Kennedy, and an insubstantial one until Johnson.

Read your history. Its in all the history books. It was Eisenhower that sounded the alert. It was under Eisenhower's administration that the domino theory was developed to explain the possible consequences of communist expansion in SE Asia. It was the domino theory that pushed Kennedy into the war.

And it was stinkin' thinkin' that cost 58k Americans their lives.

Like I have said in a post to Tim, every president who initiates a war......every Senator or Representative who ratifies that war........should be required to fight in that war or to send a relative in their stead.

This starting wars BS has got to stop. Its costing us a fortune and giving us a bad name. If you all don't agree, go found your own country and start wars to your heart's delight. Leave us out of it.
