Everyone in the world is in deficit financing mode, this is one expensive solution.

I was massively against the war, but I do believe that when an undemocratic regime changes - and this definitely counts as one - then all debts become null and void if a 'democratic election' occurs afterwards.
This would give people an added impetus to kick out tyrants - a massive cash injection to their national finances.
You want to deal with dodgy regimes, dont go expecting your cash back!
I really cannot see The Rest of The World significantly helping the US here financially or otherwise, but who really knows? Not me!
