I was in my grandfather's house a few weekends ago (my sister lives there now). It's a two bedroom city house. His old bedroom could barely fit in a queen sized bed and a night stand and it opened up directly into the kitchen. The second bedroom was about the same size and it opened up directly into the living room, which was connected into the kitchen. 5 rooms total, including the bathroom.

We gotta be talking 800 square feet. Man o man was it cramped, I don't think that i could raise a kid in there without killing it.
