Just curious, do you have the breakdown for debt interest, entitlement programs and discretionary spending in those years? The devil is always in the details and all Washington politicians lie through their teeth about what they are really doing with the budget. Must be a weird magnetic field emanating from the Potomac. They usually claim to cut what they are increasing and "slash" various programs that end up with net increases. Both parties do it with an equal lack of shame.
