Shhhh

Tort reform is a dirty word. It would take money away from lawyers.

Fortunately, John Kerry, one of the patron saints of the plaintiffs' lawyers political donation machines, opposed the Class Action Fairness Act which recently came up for a vote. Good to see that Kerry meets the old definition of an "honest politician":

An honest politician is one who stays bought.

I'm one who strongly believes that laws should be simple, understandable, and made by people who they affect.

That all but disqualifies most lawyers from public office.
