Well heck, sounds very repentant! Sort of. Because it's all someone else's fault, naturally. <g> But it's all good in the 'hood: "He apologizes to Bob and to most of the members of SI. Has no hard feeling towards Bob. He just blew up out of frustration over the unfair enforcement of the terms of use. The true bullies remain unpunished while he is out."

So what have you been doing the past 4 years that you've been on posting hiatus, only to come up today for a spell? Ever wonder how many digits are in an IP address and — what the heck are all those dots for, anyway? ;-)

That was the most non-apology apology I've seen in quite some time. Well said!

>>On a side note, I've known Vince for a long time, worked together on the force.

Perhaps he should use the power of the dark side "the force" to achieve his desires.

>>I don't think all the other SI members combined have done as much for their community as he has done for his.

I think he told us all we need to know with the following post:

Emile, you have class. I tip my hat off to you.

If Emile is representative of his community, the site (and humanity in general) are better off without him.

Thomas,

You and Vince, "worked together on the force"??

Are you saying that Vince is a police officer or did you mean something else?

What city if I may ask?

Thomas,

Regarding your English skills I thought it was interesting that you used the word 'force' to connote an association with the military. In the U.S.A. the word is typically used to describe an association with a police department. Most people in the good ole USA who wish to convey an association with the Army would simply say 'army' or 'military'.

I'm not a 100% sure, but I believe the word 'force' to connote a miliary association would be a common term of usage in the Mideast.
