In Texas the Republican dominated legislature changed banking laws to allow home equity to be spent on any purchase ... Who did the great disservice of preventing people from taking equity out of their homes in the first place? You should be pleased that "easily persuaded listeners of talk radio" took out loans. Your implication is that Rush's Texas followers stampeded the banks, were forclosed upon, and now don't have homes. Then they'd become democrats, right?<g>
