Some interesting reading there on Russia. I tend to think Putin's objectives should be supported by the USA. A Russia dominated by Oligarchs at the expense of the Russian citizens would be just one more untenable oil producing state of which we have too many already.

Bastardi is calling for November weekly to data to be above week 1 then normal week 2 and then below normal for weeks 3 & 4.

I am adding Message 19455558 to Russian energy, because I believe Putin needs to make Russian energy sector strong just as China needs to make its insurance business popular. Both will be volatile as speculations, but as investment, probably safer than Fannie, Freddie, and housing shares :0)
