Remember the party held by the Shah of Iran that cost millions, with all expense-paid invitees from all over the world to some ancient Persian archeological ruin to drink the best and eat the most desirable?

One detail of the party (as in "oops") was that Iranian guests constituted less than 10% of the participants.

Agree totally. My bet is the oligarchs have some people paid off in the western media to spin this their way. But the story of how these guys stole these assets, stripped them and sent them to western banks is grist for the scam history books.
