Anyone could run Vermont. The place is the easiest state in the nation to run. When have they ever had a crisis beyond maple syrup or ski chalet problems. Give us a break, please. Vermont has an excellent tax base and zero urban problems, crime, conjestion, etc. It's an all-white state and has plenty of very rich people who've moved there. It's a utopia. The GOP governor there now is enjoying the same success as Dean did despite the nation going under in a sea of debt.

Mephisto,

Re: But Dean provided health care to all the people in Vermont

That is not quite true. The state provided health care was for the children of Vermont, up to the age of 18.
